Universities

The Institute is involved in numerous national and international cooperations. Detailed below are the most important cooperation partners. Only cooperations are listed where joint projects/ cooperation agreements or joint publications exist.

The Einstein Elevator at Leibniz University Hannover
The Einstein Elevator at Leibniz Universität Hannover enables experiments in weightlessness for four seconds up to 300 times a day. Specifically, the planned joint project INTENTAS - "Interferometry with entangled atoms in space" of DLR-SI with Leibniz University Hannover and the partner universities in Berlin, Darmstadt and Ulm should be mentioned, in which quantum effects in microgravity will be investigated and applied to robust and compact atomic sensors.
