Aus heterogen verteilten Satellitenmessungen können durch Datenassimilationsverfahren globale synoptische Analysen von Spurengasen gewonnen werden. Das Beispiel zeigt ENVISAT MIPAS Ozonbeobachtungen eines Tages in einer Höhe von 56 hPa (links) und die resultierende 3D Ozonanalyse durch Assimilation in das Chemie-Transport-Model DLR/ROSE.
