Management Services and AT-One

The scientific work of the Institute is structured into five departments according to subject area. In addition, the department Management Services and AT-One performs the central administrative and strategic tasks of the Institute. By pooling organisational and methodical tasks, the Institute's goals can be pursued in a coordinated approach, while allowing the scientists to better focus on their core tasks.

Management Services include, in particular, quality and IT management, public relations, personnel management, financial controlling, as well as marketing and project acquisition for all areas of the Institute. Furthermore, the department coordinates the close partnership with the Dutch National Aerospace Laboratory (NLR) within the AT-One alliance.

The business managers of the Institute are also positioned in the department Management Services. Business managers are experienced scientists who, on the one hand, are involved in scientific projects. On the other hand, they ensure compliance with the formal requirements of public research programs and also support departments in their efforts to raise third-party funds and pursue cooperation projects. To achieve this, they use their detailed knowledge of the environment and their own networks.
