The German Aerospace Center (DLR) operates the research helicopter EC 135 ACT/FHS (Active Control Technology / Flying Helicopter Simulator). The department developed the experiment support facility and maintains and modifies it according to customers’ requests. The experiment support facility consists of the experimental system, which is integrated into the helicopter, the mobile telemetry and telecommand system, and a functionally compatible duplicate of the experimental system in the AVES simulator.
