Sensor Technology

Another task of the department is the support for sensor technology focusing on the complete signal chain up to data acquisition and post-processing. This includes:

  • Selection and evaluation of sensor technology
  • Integration of sensors into aircraft including qualification
  • Sensor-specific signal processing
  • Calibration of sensors and signal chains, supported by our in-house calibration laboratory
  • Subsequent processing with dedicated real-time systems
  • Optimisation of signal quality

The department can also provide the simulation of sensor systems down to the level of hardware interfaces and the visualization of experiment data for quick look purposes.
