The Department of Systems Engineering and Project Office deals with the development and implementation of complex space missions, and brings together the central technical and administrative skills in the fields of project management, system engineering, configuration and Assembly Integration and Testing (AIV) for project handling within the Institute of Space Systems. Effective and efficient project handling and implementation is the main function of the Department of Systems Engineering and Project Office.
To fulfil its objectives, supporting processes need to be developed and established taking knowledge management, and product and quality assurance into consideration. This includes, for example, development and maintenance, for example, for clean room certification to ensure an unlimited implementation of the projects.
