Galileo Integrated Optimization with VANET Enhancements (GLOVE) is a technological STREP project which investigates the mutual benefits coming from the cross-domain integration between the Galileo/EGNOS Global Navigation Satellite System and Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks.
GLOVE targets the mutual benefit of both technologies, i.e. how the communication signals from Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks can support the Navigation System and vice versa. Expected results of the project include both theoretical (architectures, performance evaluations, analysis of weaknesses and points of strength of the envisioned solutions) and practical ones (proof of concept demonstration of the solutions and of the related services).
