Laser übertrug erfolgreich Informationen vom Flugzeug zur Bodenstation

Im Verkehrsbeobachtungsprojekt ARGOS gibt es einen wichtigen Fortschritt bei der Informationsübertragung. Wissenschaftler des Deutschen Zentrums für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) übertrugen erfolgreich Daten per "Lichtfunk" von einem Flugzeug zur Bodenstation. Das hat den Vorteil, hohe Datenraten übertragen zu können, stellt aber wegen der Dynamik und Vibration der fliegenden Plattform hohe Ansprüche an diese Kommunikationstechnik.
