Die iWAVEX 2021-Konferenz bringt Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler mit Unternehmen zusammen, die sich für den Einsatz von Ganzkörpervibration in der körperlichen und mentalen Gesundheit interessieren. Dabei sind sowohl die Grundlagenforschung als auch die angewandte Forschung neben neuen Entwicklungen bei Geräten und Protokollen zur Anwendung von Ganzkörper-Vibrationen wichtige Themen.
Die Tagung konzentriert sich auf die Anwendung des aktuellen Wissensstandes bei gleichzeitiger Nutzung des technologischen Fortschritts. Vorgestellt werden sowohl grundlegende als auch angewandte Forschung sowie neue Entwicklungen bei Geräten und Protokollen für die Anwendung von Ganzkörpervibrationen.
Die Forscherinnen und Forscher der iWAVEX-Konferenz interessieren sich für das Potenzial von Ganzkörper-Vibration (WBV) für die körperliche und kognitive Gesundheit. Bei WBV überträgt eine Vibrationsquelle (in der Regel eine Plattform) mechanische Schwingungen auf den Körper einer Person, die auf dieser Plattform steht oder sitzt.
