2D Clinostat for Pipettes

For the exposure of non-adherent samples (cell cultures) to simulated microgravity conditions this device has been constructed. 10 1ml plastic pipettes (Ø3.5mm) filled with the samples run in parallel inside of an incubator. The rotating pipettes can be tilted to transfer the material directly into a fixative in order to avoid effects by stopping the clinostat and thus termination of the experiment under 1 g conditions.
