AIV Laboratory

Assembly, Integration and Verification Lab (cleanroom)
zum Bild Assembly, Integration and Verification Lab (cleanroom)

This laser laboratory is used for sensitive integration and alignment tasks for optical assemblies demanding advanced cleanliness requirements (ISO 5). This laboratory is equipped with a large stabilized optical bench (5 m x 2 m), optical measurement devices and optical and opto-mechanical elements that are used for characterization of laser beams. This includes measurement of pulse energy, temporal and spatial beam profile, beam pointing stability, divergence, beam diameter, wavelength and beam propagation factor. CCD cameras are as well usable as an autocollimator. Furthermore there is optical access to the thermal vacuum chamber “SESiLOX” through an optical window within the same.
