JUICE is a planned ESA mission of the Cosmic Vision science program with the main goal of studying the icy moons of Jupiter. The mission, scheduled to launch on 2022, is due to arrive at Jupiter on 2029.

Our institute contributes to development and construction of the JANUS multispectral camera, built under the leadership of the University of Naples in Italy. Our department contributes scientifically to the camera experiment with a co-investigator. The science activities include observation planning, data reduction and interpretation and support ground-based observations of Jupiter satellite system.
