Laureates 2004

The DLR Quality Prize was awarded for the second time at the Innovation Market on September 17, 2004.

The following criteria were the basis for the selection of the award-winners:

• commitment to excellence with respect to systematic quality assurance and quality management to the advantage of DLR;
  
• specific merits with respect to introduction and consistent implementation of quality management within their department and within their areas of responsibility with regard to the quality improvement of both DLR’s products and services.

DLR Vice-Chairman, Prof Dr. B. Höfer, and the former DLR Quality Management Representative, Dr. R. Wieynk, awarded the prize to

• Mr Günter Mansfeld, Institute of Flight Guidance
• Mr Manfred Senden, Finances and Controlling Department
• Mr Rainer Dröske, TESAT Spacecom
• Mr Manfred Engelhardt, Alpha-, Meß-, Steuer und Regelungstechnik GmbH.
