The German Space Operations Center (GSOC) has started with Human Spaceflight Operations in the beginning of the 1980’s with the preparation of the STS-9 (Spacelab-1, FSLP) shuttle mission which used the European Spacelab Module for the first time. Hence, GSOC has the most long-lasting experience with human spaceflight operations in Western Europe. The Human Spaceflight Operations are run at the DLR site in Oberpfaffenhofen.
More information about DLR’s Human Spaceflight Missions, Location, Assets and Teams can be found in the Service Portfolio Module on the right (see Downloads section).
