Controlling and acquisition

The Controlling and Acquisition Department is responsible for the administrative coordination of the entire institution Space Operations and Astronaut Training. The activities are carried out in close cooperation with the institute head and all organizational units responsible for the specific tasks.

In detail, the department performs the following tasks:

• Controlling
• Human resources management to ensure administrative support in all aspects of the human resources process
• Management systems for quality, occupational health and safety, information security: Ensuring support in all matters and implementation of the standards ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001 and ECSS in the facility and ensuring quality in product development
• Configuration management: Ensuring support in all aspects of configuration management and implementation of the configuration management standards from ISO 9001 and ECSS in the institution
• Procurement: Ensuring administrative support
• Contract management: ensuring administrative support
• Infrastructure buildings: Interface to construction management and operating technology
• Business Development: Acquisition of new space operations tasks (project and study management for phase 0 and A), support & consulting on RB's strategy in the national and international space business environment, external relations, representation & public relations
