Participants who arrived in Prague on 9th September were welcomed at an evening reception. The reception was held in the "Restaurant and Beerhouse Vojanuv Dvur" in Prague.
The 10th September started with a common information part supported by the EC. The call contents was presented as well as legal aspects. In addition proposal writing aspects from the view of an evaluator had been introduced. In the afternoon two parallel sessions contributed to the GMES part of the call and to the Space foundations part. During the whole event there were matchmaking opportunities.
The GMES session provided presentations from representatives of the GMES core and pilot services as well as about relevant ESA GMES projects (GMES Service Elements - GSE). GMES for Africa was adressed as well as SatCom and SatNav as integrated parts of GMES with a special focus on emergency applications.
The parallel Space Foundations session comprised call relevant presentations by ESA and others. The main topics were Space exploration, Space technology and linking new member states to the European Space scene. As a matchmaking platform participants gave short presentations on competencies of their institution and project ideas. Facilities to present posters and leaflets/brochures were also available.
