The pale-coloured TanDEM-X elevation model shows an ice cap in the middle of October Revolution Island, in 3D. It has a diameter of 30-40 kilometres and is 700 metres high. The ice cap is located on a landscape of snow and ice. The lines that can be seen running from the ice cap are drainage channels.
