By combining multiple robotic technologies such as perception, ground and aerial platforms, autonomous navigation and manipulation we have been working on systems for different field (open terrain) applications. These systems should provide practical solutions for the management of post-catastrophic scenarios, industrial inspection and maintenance, environmental monitoring, as well as communication. Many of these systems are composed of multiple cooperating robots with the same and/or different characteristics and skills. They strongly employ the technologies developed in the planetary exploration domain.
