The RM spin-off Leverage Robotics can be seen at the DLR booth at the Hanover Fair from April 17 to April 21, 2023.
At the German Aerospace Center, technology transfer is driven and promoted in particular by spin-offs of start-ups. The Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics plays a key role here, producing a new company almost every year and transferring developed technology from research to industry. This is also the case with Leverage Robotics, which is dedicated to the task of making the production of the future more flexible and efficient through the use of lightweight robots, based on the research topic Factory of the Future. To this end, they are developing highly flexible and intelligent plug-&-produce robot cells for fast set-up times in multitasking applications. With their innovative robot tool technology, complex and diverse tasks in logistics, assembly, quality and especially machine loading as well as start-of-line applications can be efficiently realized. Each of these tools has software modules, so-called robot capabilities, which enable intuitive robot programming even for non-experts. The simplified applicability of robots can enable regional production and prevent outsourcing of production with long delivery routes.
Digitalization, artificial intelligence, automation and sustainable energy concepts are the main topics at Hannover Messe. Exhibitors will present solutions for the global challenges of climate change from April 17 to April 21, 2023. You will find Leverage Robotics in Hall 13 Booth D62 at the DLR booth.
Roman Weitschat explains what Leverage Robotics stands for and what distinguishes the spin-off in a short interview.
