SpaceJustin

The humanoid robot SpaceJustin

SpaceJustin is a humanoid upper body consisting of two Light-Weight Robot arms, two DLR-HIT Hands II, a torso and a head.

This version of Justin is our main development platform for human centered telerobotics, powering our research in:

  • Telepresence (coupled with our human-machine interface HUG),
  • Grasp planning,
  • Shared autonomy,
  • Scene analysis and
  • Human factors.
