Short presentation
Dr. Martin J. Kühn did his master studies on applied mathematics at the University of Cologne, Germany, and at the Université de Montréal, Canada. His doctoral thesis was focused on robust solvers for high contrast materials and he obtained his PhD from the University of Cologne in 2018. In 2019, he worked on multigrid methods for plasma fusion applications as a PostDoc at CERFACS in Toulouse, France. Martin is a research associate at the Institute of Simulation and Software Technology at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) since 2020. His current research focuses on high-performance computing, sparse linear solvers, and modeling and simulation of infectious diseases.
