TiGL (TiGL Geometry Library)
TiGL is an open source software package for the parametric modeling of aircraft geometries. At the DLR, TiGL is used as a central tool for the analysis and optimization of aircraft, in which the aircraft geometries generated in TiGL are made available to the simulation tools via various interfaces.

FlowSimulator DataManager (FSDM)
The FlowSimulator DataManager (FSDM) is a HPC-library written in C++ with Python interface for the storage and the parallel management of data from CFD simulations in aerospace. FSDM copes with different kinds of structured and unstructured meshes and supports various common data formats such as HDF5, netCDF, CGNS and Tecplot.

MAPLIB
MAPLIB is a software library that enables simulational tools in the context of aircrafts to deform a mesh in dependence of design and geometry changes. This enables the computation of deformation gradients that make gradient-based optimization approaches possible.

Pipelined Hybrid-parallel Iterative Solver Toolkit (PHIST)
PHIST provides implementations of and interfaces to block iterative solvers for sparse linear and eigenvalue problems. We support multiple backends and interfaces in C, C++, Fortran 2003 and Python. PHIST has a clear focus on portability and hardware efficiency: in particular we support heterogeneous CPU/GPU systems and holistic performance engineering.

Versatile Aeromechanic Simulation Tool (VAST)
The Versatile Aeromechanic Simulation Tool (VAST) is a multi-physics multi-model simulation tool for helicopter aeromechanics. VAST’s goal is to simulate and analyse the behaviour of helicopters and wind turbines with a focus on the dynamic behaviour for instance of e.g. the free-flying helicopter.
