Digital Atlas 2.0
A digital transformation is affecting the areas of transportation infrastructure, energy supply and urban planning. Within the scope of Digital Atlas 2.0, eleven DLR institutes and facilities are developing and implementing concepts to integrate heterogeneous geodata sets into a uniform geodata infrastructure across domains and to make them available to applications via standardized interfaces.

Drone Simulation Project - Simulated drones for population study
In the future, unmanned aerial systems (UAS), also known as drones, will be increasingly used to transport goods in urban areas. Together with the Institute of Flight Guidance and the Institute of Transportation Systems the acceptance of the population concerning the use of unmanned aerial systems in the city was investigated with the help of virtual drones simulated by the Institute for Software Technology.

IslandViz
To visualize software, we have developed the program IslandViz. The program represents a virtual island landscape, whereby the islands can be understood as a metaphor.

Ricados 2.0
