The DLR_School_Lab TU Dortmund is located in the middle of the university campus. This means that young visitors learn not only how thrilling research and technology can be, but also get their first taste of a university. As such, the lab is also a great place to learn about obtaining a degree, with its fascinating experiments from a range of different fields.

Microcapsules, fuel cells, 3D printing and bio-solar cells: the themes of the hands-on experiments here show high-tech at its best! There is even the legendary double-slit experiment for older students, while younger visitors can experiment with small robots, make pocket warmers and create their own lava lamps.
