The DLR Institute of Systems Engineering for Future Mobility is based in Oldenburg, Lower Saxony. The building is located in the district of Bürgerfelde and can be easily reached by train and bus or by car; some parking lots and a bus stop are in the immediate vicinity of the institute building.
Train and bus
The main station Oldenburg is about 3 km away from the institute (in case of a lack of time, a taxi is recommended). From the main station / ZOB take the bus line 308 in the direction of "BBS Wechloy" (leaves every 15 minutes) and get off at the bus stop "Industriestrasse". At the corner of the Edeka supermarket, turn left into Industriestrasse and left again into the second street, Escherweg. The institute building is on the left-hand side.

Car
From the North: Take the A29 and A293 motorways to the A28.
From the South: Take the A28 or A29 motorways and at the Oldenburg-Ost motorway junction follow the A28 in direction of Emden/Leer.
Then take exit 12, Oldenburg-Haarentor, and turn left at the traffic lights onto Ofener Strasse, towards the city centre. At the traffic lights (after approx. 800 metres) turn left into Auguststrasse.
Follow Auguststraße for about 800 meters before turning left into Industriestrasse (there is an Edeka supermarket on the corner).
Take the second street on the left - you are now directly in Escherweg, you can park on the left in the car park.
Please note: We recommend that you use public transport as the number of parking lots is limited.
Airplane
Bremen airport is located about 45 km from Oldenburg.
From there you can take the tram line 6 to Bremen main station and then take the train to Oldenburg.
