Solar power plants - Quality tests on various scales
The performance of a solar power plant depends critically on the quality of the single components and their coordination and adjustment. Collectors, mirrors, and receiver must be optimally adjusted in a plant of parabolic troughs as well as the various mirrors in the heliostat field of a tower plant.

QFly - Airborne quality surveillance system for solar thermal power plants
The optical and thermal efficiency of parabolic-trough solar fields depends on the function and the condition of its components, such as concentrator, absorber, and tracking. The department Qualification develops measurement techniques to evaluate the condition of the components in existing power plants.
