The SFERA-III project, funded under the EU programm Horizon 2020, has the overarching goal of strengthening the sustainability of the activities of European research infrastructures for Concentrating Solar Thermal (CST) technologies. SFERA-III grants researchers from research institutions and industrial companies transnational access to test facilities and laboratories, the implementation of networking activities and the coordination of joint research projects. Participating organisations want to promote collaboration between researchers from different organisations and the transfer of knowledge between researchers and industry.
SFERA-III provides free access to 43 installations of 14 state-of-art research infrastructures in the field of concentrated solar thermal power in 8 countries:
CYPRUS
FRANCE
GERMANY
ITALY
PORTUGAL
SPAIN
SWITZERLAND
TURKEY
The campaign offers access to a wide spectrum of experiments such as:
Benefit from free access to top research infrastructures in concentrated solar thermal power across Europe and apply until 31 January 2022. The selected projects will benefit from 1 to 4 weeks of free access to the chosen facilities for a team of up to 2 persons. Moreover, travel, accommodation, and subsistence costs are reimbursed by the project’s budget.
