Neustrelitz is about 100 kilometres north of Berlin and 150 kilometres south of Rostock. By car, take B96 or B198. By rail, the best option is to take the Chemnitz-Rostock inter-regional train.
Arrival by car
Coming from Berlin via city highway A10 At freeway junction 31-Kreuz Oranienburg follow the signs and take the exit towards Stralsund/Oranienburg onto the B96. Follow the B96 to Neustrelitz. Take the B198 exit in the direction of A20/Woldegk/Neustrelitz. At the traffic circle take the first exit (Woldegker Chaussee/B198). Turn left at Woldegker Chaussee 50, at the height of the federal police station.
Arrival by rail or air
From Berlin Tegel airport, take the Fex airport shuttle to the main train station (Hauptbahnhof). The main train station has direct trains to Neustrelitz.
Arrival in Neustrelitz
The Institute SO is located on the western side of Neustrelitz near the Bundespolizei. The Main DLR site is located on the southern outskirts of Neustrelitz, about five kilometres from the city centre.
