The Institute of Networked Energy Systems occupies two buildings located in Oldenburg in north-western Lower Saxony and also has an office in Stuttgart. Building A of the Institute is located directly on the University of Oldenburg’s natural sciences campus, situated in the city’s Wechloy district. Building B is located centrally in the pedestrian zone in Oldenburg city centre. In addition, around 40 of the institute’s staff are based at the Stuttgart Engineering Park (STEP), not far from the University of Stuttgart’s Vaihingen campus. All destinations can easily be reached by train, bus or car; individual parking spaces, car parks and stops and stations are situated in the direct vicinity of the institute buildings.
