Research Project LifetimeINH5000

Researching approaches to maximise the durability and efficiency of a 5kW-PEM fuel cell thermal power station

System components and operational modes have a significant effect on the durability and efficiency of fuel cells. The Institute of Networked Energy Systems is conducting research on operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce wear in thermal power stations’ fuel cells and provide validation of their performance under real operating conditions.

Duration:
February 2018 until January 2022
