Sustainable high temperature thermoelectric generators

The department of Thermoelectric Materials and Systems is developing materials and devices for energy conversion. In this video we give you a sneak peek into our lab and show the complete processing from material to device, including some of the challenges we faced while developing novel magnesium silicide based thermoelectric generators. These show promise for waste heat recovery applications and are made from lightweight and abundant materials.
