DLR and the University of the Federal Armed Forces (UniBw) Munich are joining forces in security research. The cooperation is also made clear by a close personnel connection. Prof. Alexander Popp, Head of the Institute of Mathematics and Computer-aided Simulation (IMCS) at the UniBw Munich, is taking over as Deputy Director of the DLR Institute for the Protection of Terrestrial Infrastructures in Sankt Augustin.
