Low Cost Carriers all over the World

In Europe, cheap flights are almost taken for granted. Some airlines offer individual flights for less than 20 Euro - one can even do a tour around Europe for 100 Euro!
But the Low Cost Carrier business model is also successful in other parts of the world. Meanwhile, there is a worldwide net of budget airlines. This multitude of routes is linkable in such a way, that a trip around the world is possible for about 1250 Euro within one week. This undercuts the round-the-world tickets offered by large alliances by almost one half.
