High Performance Computing is a key enabler for the numerical simulation of aerodynamics and multidisciplinary simulation as well as optimization of aircraft, spacecraft and ground transportation vehicles including their components as well as wind energy turbines. The essential need of tailored HPC-systems in these areas requires a close cooperation of the application side with providers of these systems.

The essential need of tailored HPC-systems in these areas requires a close cooperation of the application side with providers of these systems.
This year the HPCN-Workshop will take place Dresden, home of the CARA-Cluster. DLR, aerospace academia and industries will present their research and projects in the scope of the workshop, ranging from future topics with invited speakers like Exascale Computing to today’s large-scale HPC-applications in DLR focusing on performance and scalability aspects. Hard- and software providers of HPC-systems will present their latest developments.

The workshop is open for DLR staff and close partners from academia and industries. Registration is open until June, 25 The participation if free of charge.
