Aviation is of great importance, both for the economy and for society. In order to maintain mobility in the future and achieve environmentally friendly aviation, there is a great and diverse need for research. For this reason, the main strategic focus of research funding, both at federal and state level, is on projects that will lead to eco-efficient aviation in the medium and long term.
