SWEET
Space weather, which influences environmental conditions in the atmosphere, is crucial for the safety and operation of satellite infrastructures and global navigation systems such as Galileo and GPS. Both solar winds and storms can have a significant impact. It is therefore crucial to develop an accurate understanding of space weather and to model its effects.
In the SWEET project, we are improving existing models of space weather and creating infrastructure for processing, storing and accessing this complex modelling data. In addition, a web application is being developed with which scientists can interactively and visually explore and analyse the space weather models. In this way, we want to contribute to a better understanding of space weather and its effects.
Project duration: 01/2024 - 12/2026
