A hot Jupiter with extreme temperatures and strong cloud formation
Measurements of the exoplanet WASP-43b with the James Webb Telescope show temperature differences between the day and night side of more than 600° Kelvin, strong winds and cloud formation on the night side. Nicolas Iro from our department is co-author of this publication.
