The "Chemical & Explosive Detection" group has the task of developing technologies for the distance-based detection of chemical and explosive hazardous substances in safety applications. In addition to the selection of suitable laser-based detection methods and the creation of concepts, we also deal with the experimental implementation and optimisation of the developed concepts through to system control and data analysis.
