PLATO moved in the cleanroom
After arrival at the cleanroom at ESTEC, the European Space Agency’s Plato spacecraft was moved from its container. Here it is still covered by protective film. The spacecraft can be seen in the horizontal transport configuration on a rolling platform, with the cameras pointing to the left of the photo.
The combined solar panel and sunshield module, which will be connected to the main spacecraft in the coming weeks, is also visible in the background.
