Team: Specialists on Software and Tools
The SAWT team, 'Specialists for Tools & Technology,' is dedicated to providing expertise and in-depth knowledge in developing Machine Learning methods for Earth Observation, knowledge discovery in databases, high-performance computing (HPC), and geoscience applications to support the DAS department and Helmholtz AI platform.
In addition to our technical work, we strongly emphasize promoting knowledge sharing within our department and disseminating our research findings to both internal and external user communities. We also maintain an inventory of computing resources, including hardware and software, that are available as services for different users.
As part of the Helmholtz AI Consult Unit @ DLR, we actively engage in various research activities and provide answers to specific AI problems through vouchers.
