                    Research and Transfer

The Institute of Electrified Aero Engines pursues a holistic systems approach in its research into innovative, lower-emission aircraft propulsion systems. The following pages provide an insight into overarching topics, research projects and our research infrastructure.

                    Topics

Our research focuses at the Institute of Electrified Aero Engines cover a broad spectrum. The following pages provide an insight into our research work.

                    Projects

The institute works on a large number of DLR-internal and externally funded projects.

                    Research infrastructure

The DLR Institute of Electrified Aero Engines is planning to set up a large number of test benches, the HepCo Test Facilities, in a 13,300 square meter hall on the grounds of the Technology and Innovation Park (TIP) in Cottbus.
