"DLR Science Award" in recognition of scientific achievements - Thomas Jagdhuber

We are happy to announce that our colleague Dr. Thomas Jagdhuber has been awarded with the DLR Science Award (DLR-Wissenschaftspreis). The award has been presented to him during the DLR General Assembly Meeting, beginning of December in Bremen. The Prize is awarded every year primarily to young scientists at DLR in honor of their outstanding scientific achievements which must be documented in refereed scientific journals. The awarded work of Thomas Jagdhuber is entitled: “Soil Moisture Estimation Under Low Vegetation Cover Using a Multi-Angular Polarimetric Decomposition”, published in IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, Vol. 51, No. 4, April 2013.
