We are very happy to announce that our colleague Andreas Benedikter is among the winners of the 2019 Bavarian VDE Awards. The prize has been awarded to him during a festive event in Festsaal des Bayerischen Hofes, Munich, on 24 November by Professor Petra Friedrich, VDE President Southern Bavaria and Jochen Steinbauer, VDE President Northern Bavaria. His award winning master thesis is entitled "Analysis of a Side-Looking SAR for Subsurface Imaging of the Ice-Moon Enceladus". We wish him all the best for his future career.
