We are very pleased to inform you that our colleague Diego Lorente Catalán defended his doctoral thesis with “cum laude” today, on September 12, 2025, at the Universitat Politècnica de València.
The title of his doctoral thesis is "Mitigation of Internal and External Antenna Interactions for Multiband Remote-Sensing Applications".
His dissertation makes a significant contribution in the field of antennas for next-generation airborne SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) applications, providing methods to overcome the inherent electromagnetic dependencies that lead to design trade-offs. It also offers solutions to mitigate the antenna interaction with its environment.
