Congratulations to Fabian Hochberg! He was awarded Second Prize in the Student Award category at the IEEE Radar Conference in Phoenix, USA, for his work “Synchronization of a Multistatic High Resolution Imaging Radar Using Low-Cost Satellite TV Receiver Hardware.”
In his paper, he describes the theory and method he developed for the high-precision synchronization of widely distributed radar receivers. This method has been patented and represents a cornerstone of the new IoSiS-NG radar research facility, as well as a significant foundation for future multistatic radar systems.
