On 5 March 2024, Dr Josef Mittermayer, Allan Bojarski, Dr Mariantonietta Zonno, Dr Michelangelo Villano, Dr Markus Bachmann and Dr Stefan Buckreuß were awarded the DLR Science Prize 2023 for their scientific work "MirrorSAR: An HRWS Add-On for Single-Pass Multi-Baseline SAR Interferometry". The work was published in March 2022 in the renowned journal "IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing".
