DLR has in­te­grat­ed and com­plet­ed a ma­jor part of the MMX rover at the Bre­men site. The car­bon struc­ture, which was cre­at­ed in co­op­er­a­tion with sev­er­al DLR in­sti­tutes, to­geth­er with the up­right­ing and lo­co­mo­tion sys­tem, was de­liv­ered from Bre­men to the French space agen­cy CNES in Toulouse in Novem­ber 2022. There, the com­ple­tion with the in­stal­la­tion of all in­stru­ments and sub­sys­tems will take place by the sum­mer of 2023.
