OSSIE (Or­bit So­lu­tions to Sim­pli­fy In­jec­tion and Ex­plo­ration) soll mehrere Kle­in­st­satel­liten in un­ter­schiedliche Or­bits trans­portieren kön­nen. Zur Kom­mu­nika­tion mit der Bo­den­sta­tion nutzt das Raum­fahrzeug das Gener­ic Soft­ware De­fined Ra­dio (GS­DR) des DLR.
