The study results show that the costs of producing synthetic fuels in the considered MENA region decrease continuously between 2030 (left column) and 2050 (right column). The analysis of the investigated power generation technologies also reveals: fuel production using solar energy (CSP and PV; top and middle columns) has lower costs over the entire period than fuel production using onshore wind energy (bottom column).
