The Institute of Networked Energy Systems is researching requirements for the future hydrogen infrastructure, including for use in the mobility sector. Since 2017, the researchers have had an H2-powered fuel cell vehicle at their disposal with a tank that holds 5.6 kilograms of hydrogen. It has a range of around 600 kilometres.
